What we collect, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

When you place an order we collect your name, email address, telephone number, and the shipping and billing addresses you give us. When you create an account we store your email address and the pieces you save. When you write to us, subscribe to our letters, submit a review or ask to join the Inner Circle, we keep what you sent and the address you sent it from. Our servers record the IP address a request came from so we can tell ordinary use apart from abuse.
We never see or store your card number, UPI ID, CVV or bank credentials. Those are entered inside our payment provider's own window and never reach us. We hold only the payment reference our provider returns, which tells us an order was paid and nothing more.
To take, pack, ship and invoice your order; to answer you when you write; to keep the tax records Indian law requires us to keep; to show you your own orders and saved pieces when you sign in; and to protect the site from fraud and automated abuse. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to advertise to you elsewhere.
Only the services that make an order happen, and only the part each one needs. Our payment provider receives the amount and your contact details to process the payment. Our courier aggregator receives your name, address and telephone number so the parcel can be delivered. Our email provider receives the address a message is being sent to. Our hosting and database providers store the data on our behalf. We may disclose records where the law or a lawful order requires it.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a sign-in session if you have an account, your bag, and your saved pieces. Those are functional: clearing them signs you out and empties your bag, and nothing else.
Order, invoice and tax records are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires. Enquiries and review submissions are kept while they are useful to us and then removed. You can ask us to delete your account at any time; we will do so except for the order records we are obliged to retain.
You may ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw a consent you gave us — including your consent to receive our letters, which every letter also lets you withdraw with one click. Write to us and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India.
This site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, write to us and we will remove them.
If we change how we handle your information we will change this page and move the date at the top of it. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email.
