Objects that should endure beyond trends.
Every piece begins with natural stone. Shaped by skilled hands and guided by a belief that objects should endure beyond trends.
Marmex was founded to bring the discipline of Indian stone craft into contemporary architecture and interiors. We work in two directions: intimate objects for the hand and the desk, and large-format 6 × 3 ft panels for the wall. Both begin at the same quarry, and both pass through the same hands.
Four constants.
01
Natural Stone
Marble, limestone, sandstone and basalt, quarried in India and selected block by block.
02
Artisans
Karigars whose families have carved stone for three generations, working in our Rajasthan atelier.
03
Design
Contemporary composition applied to a traditional craft — restrained, architectural, unornamented unless ornament earns its place.
04
Precision
Every panel is cut to a common architectural module and finished to a tolerance measured in tenths of a millimetre.
Made by hand, one piece at a time.
Short films from the workshop floor. Nothing here is automated — the cut, the carve and the polish are all judged by eye.

Vibha Jain
At the heart of Marmex is a deep-rooted passion for art and an uncompromising eye for aesthetic brilliance, brought to life by our founder, Vibha Jain.
An alumna of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore, Vibha brings a wealth of strategic business acumen to the brand. However, it is her lifelong devotion to art that truly serves as the soul of Marmex. Blending her sharp entrepreneurial vision with her creative sensibilities, Vibha was drawn to the timeless beauty and intricate craftsmanship of the stone artwork business.
Under her leadership, Marmex is more than just an ecommerce platform; it is a curation of elegance. Vibha's mission is to channel her love for art into breathtaking stone pieces that tell a story, preserving traditional craftsmanship while elevating modern spaces.

Stone keeps its own time.
A Marmex piece is not designed to be current. It is designed to be present — in a house, an office or a hotel — long after the room around it has changed twice.
