The terms on which we sell, and you buy, through this site.

By browsing or buying here you accept these terms. You may use the site to look at our work and to buy it. You may not scrape it, resell access to it, attempt to reach parts of it you have not been given, or use it to send anything unlawful.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has it. We may suspend an account that is being used to abuse the site or other customers.
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include Goods and Services Tax at the rate applicable to the piece unless stated otherwise. Shipping is calculated at checkout from the delivery pincode and shown before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but never after you have placed an order.
Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a concluded sale. The sale is made when we confirm the order. Almost everything we make is a single piece, so two people can want the same one; if a piece has already gone, or if it was listed at a clearly mistaken price, we may decline the order and refund you in full.
Every piece is carved and finished by hand from natural stone. Colour, veining, figure and small dimensional variation are properties of the material and of the work, not defects. Photographs are taken as faithfully as we can manage, and screens differ. A piece that differs from its photograph in these respects is the piece you ordered.
Some pieces are shown only to members of the Marmex Inner Circle. Membership is granted at our discretion, may be requested or offered, and may be withdrawn. Membership gives access to see and buy those pieces; it is not a discount, a subscription, or a guarantee that any particular piece will be available.
The designs, photographs, text and marks on this site belong to us. You may share a link or an image to talk about our work. You may not reproduce a design in stone or any other material, use our photographs commercially, or use our name and marks as your own.
A review must be your own honest experience of a piece you bought. We read reviews before they appear and will not publish anything abusive, deceptive, or written to promote someone else. By submitting one you let us publish it here with your first name.
We are responsible for delivering the piece you ordered, in the condition we describe, and for the rights the Consumer Protection Act gives you. We are not responsible for how a piece is installed by someone else, for damage after delivery, or for losses beyond the price you paid for the piece.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. Nothing here removes a right you hold as a consumer under Indian law.
